About Us
Pioneer Auditing is a Dubai-based audit and management consultancy firm providing its services to local entities as well as branches and subsidiaries of international companies operating in United Arab Emirates, in general, and Ajman, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah, in particular. Established in 1988 with the aim to provide high quality audit and financial consulting services, Pioneer Auditing has developed into one of the most respected management consultancy firms operating this area.
In its audits, initially adhering to generally acceptable accounting principles (US GAAP), and later adopting International Accounting Standards when these became prevalent in Europe, Pioneer Auditing gained the reputation for undertaking strict and highly conservative audits, which was welcomed by the banking community, the main user of audited financial statements.
Pioneer Auditing distinguishes itself from most other audit firms, in its audit approach, utilizing both traditional methods (vouching) as well as risk-based and analytical methods, and providing clients with an analysis of their financial statements that goes well beyond a normal assurance exercise.
Pioneer Auditing is an independent member of PrimeGlobal (rebranded from IGAF Polaris in July 2012), one of the world’s largest and most reputed associations of independent accounting firms. This association provides Pioneer Auditing with technical depth and geographic reach well beyond the capabilities of a local firm alone.
In addition to its association with PrimeGlobal, Pioneer Auditing, through its founding partner and since its inception, has had close associations with banking institutions and law firms, whose services are put at its disposal. These associations widen the range of services that can be performed through Pioneer Auditing.
our history
Pioneer Auditing was established in Dubai during 1988 by Nicolas Saade Jr, a U.S. educated financial and banking consultant and Ezeddine Mardini, a UAE qualified registered auditor. Eissa Lutfi, a U.S. educated and UAE qualified registered auditor, joined in 1993. The object of the firm was to pool the expertise of the two founders to render a high quality professional service in complementary fields under the roof of one institution.
During the short period after its establishment, Pioneer Auditing gained a good reputation for performing high quality audits and unbiased professional reports in arbitration court cases (commercial, banking and financial) and for preparing high standard analytical financial reports.
Pioneer Auditing’s strive to achieve a high standard of service was rewarded and enhanced in May 1992 with its admittance as member in The International Group Of Accounting Firms (IGAF), one of the oldest and largest associations of independent accountants which ranked then among the top fifteen auditing and management consultancy groups in the world. IGAF then, had its Head Quarters in the U.S.A. and regional offices in Argentina, the Netherlands and Singapore, and had up to that date 130 firms with 430 offices in 60 countries around the world employing about 8,500 employees. This association put at the disposal of the firm virtually unlimited resources and expertise in any field of management consultancy, whether related to general issues in accounting, auditing, taxation, information systems, and financial consulting, or whether these are related to specific industries in particular countries.
